I am a firm believer that you do something because it is the right thing to do. You cannot let others interfere when you are doing what is best for you or your company. As an entrepreneur, you know that some people will absolutely love your product. There will be some who disagree. There will even be times when competitors will be at the same event or vying for the same client. This is all okay. That’s a part of life.

The Ultimate Goal
Collaboration is essential for small business owners. We have big ideas. We are constantly on the go trying to find ways to grow. So, having those extra set of eyes or that partner to enhance a project can be beneficial. As entrepreneurs, we must encourage and assist one another. Success is the ultimate goal.
Through Thick and Thin... Stay Positive
We all know owning a small business can be tough. The days and nights are long. But, there are many benefits such as being your own boss and setting your own hours. You set the tone for how you run your company and treat your customers. At the root of it all, you must be passionate about your dream.
Your Time, Your Worth
I have written about this before, but it’s important that we, as small business owners, know our worth. And we can’t be ashamed of it either. I recently talked with an entrepreneur about his pricing and he didn’t flinch. He was very confident when he stated the costs for his services. Let’s think about it, when you go to the grocery store or a restaurant, the person taking the money tells you the total and you pay.

Share Your Knowledge - Don't Keep it Bottled Up
The growth continues for Angela Spears Communication. Of course, this is wonderful news to share. As a small business owner, I love sharing great tips with entrepreneurs. It is important to have a mentor and connect with others. One of my good friends recently told me she was starting a business. She often calls me for advice and I so enjoy passing on the knowledge that I have learned. I let her know there will be ups and downs. You can’t be afraid to take risks.
Lessons from the Playbook
It’s a been a few weeks since I have shared my thoughts and lessons learned as an entrepreneur. I have really missed blogging about the X’s and O’s as a small business owner. I, of course, have several lessons and ideas to pass along to you from the playbook. (This playbook is a work in progress. I add to it daily.) I continue to say and write that you have to know your worth. You have to realize that your services and products have value. You have to know that you are valuable.
