As one year ends and a new one begins, this is a great time to reevaluate your goals. Think about how you plan to attract new customers. What will it take for you to increase your business output and revenue? First, get rid of the bad habits and negative thoughts you had in 2017. A friend gave me a piece of great advice to take into 2018. It’s simple and you’ve probably heard it before: “THINK BIG!”
I encourage you to make more meaningful and lasting connections in the new year. Be sure to nurture and maintain those key connections. That means making phone calls or going to breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings periodically. Attend educational seminars and workshops. (This may cost you a little, but you are worth the investment.) Community engagement is key.
Remember these words from George Washington Carver, “Where there is no vision, there is no hope.” If you don’t have a vision board, get one so that you can write down and see your goals and where you want to be. Think about what went right and what went wrong. It’s okay to admit that some things did not go the way you wanted. Make changes. Be confident. THINK BIG!
