I’m sure you’ve heard over and over to always ask questions. Entrepreneurs, don’t be afraid to ask questions, even the tough ones, and expect answers when you are conducting business. It is always good to be flexible but know when to let your guard down and with whom. I want to continue sharing tips from fellow business owners. I believe it is so important that we share ideas on ways to grow and improve our companies and strategies.
I was reminded recently about the importance of having a signed contract that spells out your duties and payment options so that you have a leg to stand on in case you need it. You may want to have a lawyer draw up a contract template or find one online that works for your business. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. Be sure to set goals. Have that vision board and write them down. See it, believe it and make it happen!
“Do one thing every day that scares you.” Jump out of the box. Also, talk with others in your profession about the latest trends. This will be a major benefit for you and your clients/customers. Consider partnering with another business owner on a project. Also, take advantage of training opportunities. I must share this. I searched through my spam box this week and found an email about leadership development. The training was the right price and right time, so I will be there. I can’t wait to share what I learn. I’d love to hear from you. Drop me a line with your best business advice.
