This life as a small business owner continues to amaze me. I always tell my friends that I don’t know if this was a smart decision to go out on my own or if it was a stupid one. Despite the challenges, I love what I do! I love sharing the “Power of Your Voice.” I, of course, have advice for other entrepreneurs - hang in there. Don’t give up.

Continue to surround yourself with positive people who understand and believe in your vision. Remember that networking is key. I followed my advice this week and met with two friends who shared so much knowledge that will help my business grow.

Another friend told me something I needed to hear. “KNOW YOUR WORTH.” That is powerful. Don’t be afraid to stick to the price of your services. Think about it this way. Most people don’t ask the folks at a fast food restaurant to give them three dollars off of a burger and fries. If they want the food, they pay the price and keep rolling. Small business owners, you work hard. You do dynamic work. You are worth every penny!
